Passengers could be charged

Passengers of the infamous AZONTO bus can also be taken to task for not complying with the code of conduct.

Land Transport Authority Chief Executive Officer Naisa Tuinaceva says public vehicles code of conduct is also applicable to passengers.

Tuinaceva says they have received reports that passengers are dancing and cheering when there is music in the bus.

He says this is not right and passengers have responsibility while travelling in public vehicle.

Tuinaceva says anyone who gets into public vehicles are bound by rules and laws to follow .
