SODELAP MP, Ro Filipe Tuisawau
SODELPA MP has moved a motion asking the Prime Minister to apologize to the Parliament and also be suspended for two years.
Ro Filipe Tuisawau moved this under the standing order to amend a motion that has been presented by the Privileges Committee in the case of Voreqe Bainimarama and National Federation Party MP, Pio Tikoduadua.
He says the amendment should read that Bainimarama apologize to the nation and Parliament and also be suspended.
He says the suspension should be because of the gravity of the alleged breach of privilege and the high office held by Bainimarama.
Speaker Ratu Epeli Nailatikau ruled there was an amendment to the motion and has allowed the motion and the amendment to be debated.
