Savusavu residents make submissions for Code of Conduct bill

The Standing Committee on Justice Law and Human Rights in Savusavu

The Standing Committee on Justice Law and Human Rights today heard oral submissions from Savusavu residents on the Code of Conduct Bill.

Chaired by MP Alvick Maharaj, the Committee also received written submissions.

Maharaj says the consultation is open to the general public who have been encouraged to make use of the opportunity to make their voices heard.

The Standing Committee on Justice Law and Human Rights in Savusavu

This is the second consultation by the Committee in the North.

The first one in Labasa yesterday saw no oral submissions made.

The committee however received several written submissions from the public in Labasa.

The consultation continues at the Provincial Administrator Cakaudrove’s office and ends at 3pm.
