The government has targeted measures to assist the most marginalized in our societies.

Speaking in parliament yesterday, Minister for Infrastructure, Jone Usamate says this is evident in the 2019/2020 National Budget.

He says the government will ensure all Fijians are part of the development plans in place and such assistance will boost their productivity.

“Assistance given to Mother’s giving birth, assistance given for Water subsidy, the assistance given for electricity subsidy and all those things that government have been doing”

Usamate says government has done a lot over the years to ensure assistance is given to those who really need it.
