Parliamentary Privileges Committee Chair Veena Bhatnagar says they weren’t able to complete their deliberations in the time frame given to them.

The Committee was supposed to table their report in Parliament today but asked for one more day, and to submit their report tomorrow.

Speaking to FBC News, Bhatnagar says they haven’t completed deliberations and needed to ask for the Speaker’s permission to complete their report.

When asked what was left for the committee to decide on, Bhatnagar reiterated they needed more time.

“Let us complete our deliberations, we were not able to do it yesterday that is why we went and seek permission from the Speaker and he has approved so we are sitting today again”

The Committee will have their last meeting today and they will deliver their outcome in Parliament tomorrow.
