Opposition MP Mosese Bulitavu has made claims that majority of Police Officers were affected by the anomalies in the Police back payout in 2015.

Bulitavu alleges that families of these officers were badly impacted.

Bulitavu is urging the Fiji Police Force to come clean and verify what led to the irregularities of the payout.

“And now after all this, the Police Officers some them only receive partial of it, most of them still have not received all, some are sitting at the gallery today they also did not receive the full amount and neither the force has come out clean to them.”

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Inia Seruiratu clarified the vast anomalies that were found in the payout is the absence of data to conduct the investigation.

Seruiratu has conveyed a sincere apology of the Fiji Police Force and government to the families that were affected in the irregularity of the back-pay out.
