Parliament will have nine sittings in 2018/2019.

According to the parliament calendar, each sitting has been scheduled for a week only.

The consistent week-long sitting will be held from February to September.

The prorogation which is the continuance of parliament from one session to another will held on October 21st, 2019.

Meanwhile, the 2019/2020 parliament year is expected to open on November 18th with its first sitting scheduled a week later.
