The Police Force is urging parents to supervise their children during the closing of the Hibiscus Festival currently underway in Valelevu, Nasinu.

This comes after 11 children were separated from their parents and guardians at the Valelevu ground with the youngest being a two-year-old toddler.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says a childcare area has been created at the Valelevu Police Bure.

In the event a child is separated, parents are advised to check the Valelevu Police Bure.

Parents are being urged to be vigilant and place the safety of their children during the festivity as important.
