Police are urging parents and guardians to be mindful and more responsible for the wellbeing of their children since the school holidays are fast approaching.

Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri says they are pleading with parents to always be aware of the whereabouts of their children.

The warning comes on the back of the news that the body of a two-year-old boy was found in a river close to Nacokaika Village in Naitasiri yesterday.
