Education Minister Dr Mahendra Reddy has received positive feedback from the parents of Nadroga/Navosa High School to change the school into a Technical College.
Reddy met with the parents over the weekend to discuss matters regarding the transition.
He told parents the importance of changing the school into a technical college and the benefits it will bring to the province.
“We want the people of Nadroga to have a technical college campus here so that all the youths that are unemployed who are engaging in all kinds of issues can come and study unskilled themselves, graduate with a qualification and enter the labour market."
Reddy stressed to the parents that thorough processes have been followed by government to change the school and they will abide with any decision that comes from the Provincial Council.
