Remengesau says they congratulate Fiji on the achievement and pleased to welcome them back to the Forum.

Fiji was suspended from PIF following the events of 2006.

Fijian Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has refused to take part in the PIF and says he will only be part of it, if Australia and New Zealand’s position in the Forum is reviewed.

The current PIF is being attended by Fiji’s Foreign Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola.
