Pacific TAFE meets and surpasses accreditation target

USP’s Pacific Technical and Further Education (TAFE) received two international accreditations and two international recognitions for its programmes last year, surpassing the target laid out in the Strategic Plan for 2013 – 2018.

Diploma of Library and Information Services (level 5) received its accreditation from Australian Library and Information Association.

Certificate III in Patisserie has been accredited by the International Centre for Excellence in Tourism & Hospitality Education.

Meanwhile, Certificate IV in Information Technology (Support) received the international recognition against New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) standards from Skills International New Zealand.

However, Certificate III in Small Business Development and Management received its international endorsement from Small Business Association of Australia.

Pacific TAFE Executive Director, Hasmukh Lal says there are more programmes lined up for international accreditation in 2018 and some for re-accreditation.
