Pacific Philosophy Conference starts today

In a bid to broaden knowledge on the Pacific Culture amongst the younger generation a Pacific Philosophy Conference commenced today.

The conference which is being hosted by the Pacific Theological College is being attended by close to 200 participants.

Pacific Islands Association of Non-Governmental Organisations Executive Director Emele Dutuituraga says this is the first time such a conference is being conducted.

“This conference is a real opportunity for practitioners and academics to come together in a talanoa fashion to not only talk about philosophy, but how does that philosophy come alive.”

Dutuituraga says through this conference they are targeting young leaders and the university students who will be receiving information which will help them in their studies.
