The Fiji Electricity Authority has suffered about three hundred thousand dollars damage from Tropical Depression 04F.

Chief Executive, Husmukh Patel says this figure is for both Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

“In the Central Division the areas which were affected were Vunidawa, Tailevu, Rewa Delta and parts of Naitasiri. While in the Western Division the areas that were affected were Tavua, Rakiraki and the area between Rakiraki and Tailevu.”

Patel says equal damage was sustained at both the Central and Western division in Viti Levu.

He adds the Authority is prepared if another depression were to come our way.
