Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort latest project a success

The Conua District School in Coral Coast Sigatoka now has a new bure and a fully equipped computer lab for its students.

The project has been fully funded by the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort which celebrated its 15th anniversary over the weekend.

Trade and Tourism Minister Faiyaz Koya while opening the project acknowledged the community work done by the Resort along Coral Coast.

“Outrigger is taking the lead for this staff in these community based projects it’s just not the meeting bure but also the school etc. but these initiative I think is wonderful too for tourist to involve in.”

Outrigger general manager, Peter Hopgood, says they funded the project by taking $100 from every customer spend.

Hopgood says the Bure is also accessible to the community of Nawamagi.
