The best gift to give someone is not something that is bought from a shop, but the gift of our time.

This was highlighted by the Officer in Charge of the Samabula District ASP Tomasi Bulimaibau while the Police officers from the Samabula District cleaned the Golden Age Home in Samabula last week.

Bulimaibau says the assistance was a small way of giving back to their community.

He says they wanted to help clean up ahead of Christmas and at the same time get things ready for their special day and what they have done is insignificant compared to what the residents have given to the country in their able years of service.

The officers spent the day cutting grass, painting the footpaths and spending time with the residents of the home as well.
