Operations team including the Police, Navy and the National Fire Authority have been activated in Nausori.
A resident in Nausori town says he has been at the Syria Park since 6am and until now the water level has only risen.

_"Eighteen people were recused by rescue teams this morning from Waila, Feeder Road in Nausori as their houses are now underwater. _
A resident says the water level started rising again this morning and they moved to higher grounds.
He says they do not want to take any risk as the situation could get worse by tonight.
A number of families have started to move to higher grounds."
Meanwhile, Police in Nausori say people need to adhere to the flood warnings and move to higher grounds if they are affected by rising waters.
This comes as most people in the Nausori area are being helped by authorities as they are being affected by the rising waters.
