Open dialogue needed to fight HIV/AIDS

The fight against HIV/ Aids should start at home says the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

Rtau Epeli in the itaukei language Interview with the FBC TV says children must not be left out while discussing the deadly virus.

He says tradition and culture plays an important role in the way the issue is discussed or highlighted as only adults can dwell on the issue.

However the president says when discussing the issue sexual intercourse is part of the discussion, therefore carefully worded discussions need to be expressed when highlighting the issue.

Ratu Epeli says to strengthen the fight to stop the spread of HIV and Aids, than it must start from Home.
