The Fiji Revenue and Customs Service Chief Executive Visvanath Das says that online buying in Fiji is something they have been preparing for.

Speaking during a conference at the World Customs Organization in Nadi today, Das says that despite the reality of buying online there will be changing dynamics of the international supply chain and e-commerce.

“I think the first thing we need to deal with is of course looking at the E-Commerce and for Fiji online buying is already a reality and we have our own teams and researches that look into this matter.”

He says that technology plays a big role in the changes which they will need to be ready for.
