The computerization of the processes involved to obtain scholarships and loans from the Tertiary Education Loan Scheme Board has been helpful.

Board Chair, Dixion Seeto says the organization now has a few years of experience and the online application has made the process quicker.

Seeto says they are also able to obtain the marks from the Education Ministry and various institutions in a timely manner.

“So we are happy that this year we have been able to get the processes more efficient. So the feedback from the students is that they are very happy to get the feedback of their applications very quickly.”

Meanwhile, the government has increased scholarships from 630 to 970.
