“I am thankful to both of you that you decided to apply for those scholarships and especially in the two fields that you have chosen which is very relevant to policing. And i am happy that you’ve seen that and decided to take on those scholarships to further education not only on a personal level but for the Fiji Police Force. And i know with those degrees coming back, will certainly assist us in dealing with issues that we encounter”

Director Criminal Investigation SSP Masake Waqa says the course will help them improve on their skills.

The two will leave on Monday and the Police Commissioner says he is confident that such initiatives will upskill local officers.
