NZ a good partner in particular to COP 23

Minister responsible for Climate Change Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum highlighted that New Zealand has been a keen partner with regard to COP 23.

Sayed-Khaiyum says the NewZealand government has also announced an additional $3.6mFJD which will be used to build a Bula pavilion during COP24 in Poland.

“New Zealand has contributed generously both financially and technically in respect of some of the initiatives that has been undertaken prior to COP23 and during COP23 and Post COP 23”

Sayed-Khaiyum has urged stakeholders and every Pacific Island countries to work together in addressing the issue of climate change.
