“The International Nurses Day was commemorated to honour the commitment and self hard work of nursing community”.

Director Nursing Silina Waqa told FBC News nurses are encouraged not only to look at evidence base practice but to take up nurse’s research as well.

“This would further inform nursing practice in the country and look at evidence approach to shape nursing services and the main principle here is nurses to look at their practises and see whether it is evidence base or not ".

Waqa says they are excited about the nurses’ decree 2011.
