Candidate Nominations from various political parties have been officially closed.

According to the Supervisor of Election Mohammed Saneem, FEO will not be accepting anymore nominations from this hour.*

FBC News understands the National Federation Party has re-submitted a proposed candidate to replace Feroz Mohammed who was earlier disqualified.

We are yet to get confirmation on other political parties who have submitted their nominations this morning.
