Residents in some parts of Rakiraki are still without electricity and water supply.

Colasi resident, Jyoti Lal says close to eight houses in their area were flooded yesterday.

Lal says while water has receded and they’ve begun cleaning up, no water supply is hindering their efforts.

She says some families are still in evacuation centres.

Meanwhile, it has stopped raining in the Colasi area.
