No time for mud-slinging from politicians: PM

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has stated he will not focus on the mud-slinging from politicians.

Speaking at the opening of the Natadradave Water Project in Tailevu, Bainimarama says he is focused on delivering for all Fijians.

The Prime Minister added there are personal attacks and attempts to divide Fijians along ethnic or religious lines.

However, he says the government will continue to do whatever it takes to bring real development that will improve the lives of all Fijians.

Meanwhile, over 300 villagers of Natadradave will benefit from the new water project that was commissioned by the Prime Minister this morning.

Bainimarama says the government is committed to provide proper drinking water to many rural communities.

He says access to clean drinking water for Natadradave village is fundamental for the future.

The Prime Minister also revealed that to date, the government has brought the immeasurable benefits of clean drinking water to over 150,000 Fijians in rural communities.
