The Fiji Roads Authority is yet to put in plans for car parking spots in the main city of Suva.

This was confirmed by the FRA Chief Executive Jonathan Moore adding this is something that should not be taken lightly by the authority.

Moore says this is a major issue as is one of the contributing factor to congestion

“If we can work out a better way of moving people around Suva City centre in cars and on foot that will make the end of the journey more efficient and that maybe need more car park but at the moment we don’t have enough and i don’t believe we already have plans soon.”

The FRA is requesting the public to be courteous at all times in regards to parking.
