Digicel Fiji is still to be issued a license to operate a pay TV service in Fiji.

Communications Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum confirmed to FBC News that they are still processing the application.

A decision is expected in due time.

Digicel has bought out Sky Pacific from Fiji TV Limited, however it can’t actively takeover the business until it has a license.

The change in ownership was to be facilitated on October 1st but has been delayed for the time being.
