Attempts to get comments today from National Federation Party provisional candidate Romanu Tikotikoca about an allegation that he raped his housemaid in Port Moresby while serving as Fiji’s Ambassador to Papua New Guinea in 2014 – have been unsuccessful.

FBC News visited Tikotikoca’s home Nasinu – however, were told by family members that he was not available to comment as he had just returned from Lovoni, Ovalu, and needed rest.

Meanwhile, Former NPF President Tupou Draunidalo has refused to comment on the issue but asked that these serious accusations be handled by the proper authorities.
