The National Federation party will not be forming any coalition with any party come the 2018 General elections.

NFP Member of Parliament Pramod Chand confirmed this in parliament yesterday.

“We have repeatedly stated that publicly that we were not in a coalition with any party in 2014 and we are not in any coalition with any party and are fighting the 2018 general elections on our own.”

Chand said this while responding to the Acting Prime Minister Aiyaz- Sayed Khaiyum’s ministerial speech on the Vatuwaqa Funeral rites facility.
