The Director of Public Prosecutions Christopher Pryde has decided that no charges will be laid against SODELPA youth activist Jope Koroisavou.

Koroisavou was arrested by police in June on suspicion of having committed offences under both the Public Order Act and the Crimes Act when he carried out a lone protest on Victoria Parade on 26th June 2017.

The DPP stated that there is insufficient evidence to support any criminal charges against Koroisavou and therefore the docket has been returned to police and the file has been closed.
