The hunt for the suspects alleged to have raped a 9-year-old girl continues.

Investigators continue to explore possible leads with information provided by the victim who is recovering in hospital.

The girl was allegedly grabbed and raped by two men while walking home from school in Nakasi last Tuesday.

Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Henry Brown says the girl has been forthcoming with information.

A team of 40 officers continue their search for the suspects in the area and has been getting assistance from the community.

ACP Brown says people are adamant on ensuring the perpetrator is brought to justice for the heinous crime against the young victim.
