There were no injuries to staff or customers.

The spokesperson says staff members were offered counseling this morning.
The branch, which usually opens for international flights, was closed today but is expected to reopen as scheduled on Thursday.

The spokesperson says they are unable to provide any further details of the incident as the matter is currently being investigated by police.

Eyewitnesses told FBC News a group of men wielding knives smashed a glass partition at the counter and entered the branch.

They say the suspects damaged a main door at Customs and were seen running away with two bags.

Security guards and onlookers gave chase but were attacked with stones.

Neither police nor the bank would confirm whether anything was stolen.
