No arrests made in the alleged murder of Rayna Prasad

No arrest has yet been made in relation to the alleged murder of 22-year-old Rayna Prasad.

Prasad’s body was discovered in bushes along Muanikau Road in Suva last Monday.

Police Chief of Operations, ACP Maretino Qiolevu says investigation is still underway by a team set up to solely investigate the death of the tertiary student.

Rayna Prasad of Old Namara Settlement in Khalsa Road was reported missing by her father on 22nd December and her body was discovered forty eight hours later.

Her body was discovered by a farmer of Korova settlement who was on his way to his plantation in that area.

Meanwhile, ACP Qiolevu says investigation is also underway in relation to the other four bodies which were discovered in separate areas.
