The men are alleged to have attacked three police constables and a special constable who were on patrol in Nabua.

Police highlighted that when the officers saw the occupants of the two vehicles acting in a suspicious manner, they approached the vehicle and saw the men were armed with iron rods.

The suspects then sped from the scene and the officers chased them to the Public Rental Board’s Mead Road Housing estate where they blocked off the access to police

The eight men then allegedly attacked the police officers and their vehicle with iron rods as well as pelting them with stones.
