The National Federation Party has and will continue to campaign on issues affecting Fijians says leader Biman Prasad.

Speaking at the party’s first political rally in Vanua Levu last night, Prasad says there’s many issues they will campaign on which have been recently ignored.

The issues include the high cost of living, cost of basic food items, hospital services, the sugar industry and the high expenditure by the government.

Prasad told those gathered at Naleba College in Labasa, they have already put out their policies 14 months ago for the public to know what they are standing for in the 2018 General Election.

”We wanted the people to understand our policies, we wanted them to critique our policies, go through our polices, and not surprise them with last minute announcements.”

The NFP has committed to reducing the price of food items and raising the income workers should they form government after the General Election.

Present at the Party rally last night were NFP candidates Parmod Chand, Charan Jeath Singh, Former FLP General Secretary turned NFP Krishna Dutt and Former FijiFirst candidate turned NFP candidate Waisele Kanavo.
