The National Federation Party has filed its candidate nomination with the Fijian Elections Office.

Party Leader Biman Prasad confirmed this to FBC News making it the third party to file its 51-member list.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem also confirmed receiving the nomination list.

“The nominations that we received met the requirements under the law for the nomination process.”

Saneem says the FEO will process the list and thereafter refer it to NFP.

NFP is the third of the seven political parties contesting the upcoming election that has filed its candidate nominations list.

Other two parties include FijiFirst and SODELPA who submitted their lists on Monday and yesterday respectively.
