NFP reveals plans for 2018 general elections

The National Federation Party yesterday revealed some of their plans leading up to this year’s general election.

Leader, Professor Biman Prasad says they remain optimistic and confident on their objective.

“We have never been a stronger party than now. We have support from all communities. We have support in the villages and settlements, in the cane fields, in business and in the farming communities. We have the support of the people who work in government and the support of working people.”

Party President, Pio Tikoduadua says they principles have always been strongly grounded and has never been abandoned.

“Political parties formed after NFP have come and gone despite being led by personalities. But the NFP remains, as our leader has emphasised a principled impregnable fortress.”

Meanwhile, 11 new provisional candidates were also announced with some notable names like Siddiq Faizal Koya, Manasa Baravilala and Alipate Tuidraki.
