PM wishes NFP leader a speedy recovery

National Federation Party Leader Professor Biman Prasad will not be able to attend the parliament sitting this week.

According to the party, Prasad is on medical leave till the end of this month.

Reasons for Prasad taking the medical leave is still unknown however the party stated on their social media page that the medical leave was due to a health scare.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has wished for a speedy recovery for the NFP leader.

“Yes I heard his sick so I wish him well and he will get better quickly so that he can fit in again in parliament.”

While referring to Prasad’s medical leave, Bainimarama says somethings are just bigger than politics.
