NFP Leader and Tikotikoca to issue their statements soon

The National Federation Party will issue a statement this afternoon in regards to provisional candidate Romanu Tikotikoca’s alleged rape case.

NFP Leader Biman Prasad told FBC News the statement will be from both himself and Tikotikoca.

Attempts to get a comment from Tikotikoca this morning has been unsuccessful.

Tikotikoca is alleged to have raped his housemaid at his PNG home in 2014 while serving as Fiji’s Ambassador to PNG.

Meanwhile, Minister for Women Mereseini Vuniwaqa is also expected to comment on the matter this afternoon.
