The National Federation Party has just filed another candidate nomination with the Fijian Elections Office this morning.

This is after former provisional candidate Feroz Mohammed’s application was not approved by FEO as he was out of the country for 222 days.

As a result, Mohammed did not meet the requirement set out by the electoral act.

Unity Fiji and Hope Party are expected to file their candidate nominations today along with the Fiji Labour Party.

FijiFirst Party and SODELPA are expected to file one candidate nomination each as Naziah Ali and Adi Narayan did not make the cut.

Candidate Nominations will close at 12pm today.
