The Northland Farmers’ Cooperative marked a milestone earlier this week when they opened their first retail shop in Korovou Town in Tailevu.

The Cooperative will enable their members and farmers in the area to buy their necessary agricultural supplies from within the province saving money and time.

Minister for Trade, Faiyaz Koya says the initiative will not only prove to be an economic boost for the township, but also highlights the growth of Cooperative at a national level.
