The National Fire Authority is warning home owners to take care and be extra careful to avoid fire.

This is after a double storey house in Nailuva road was almost completely damaged in a blaze this morning.

Fire fighters in Suva have managed to stop the fire from spreading to neighbouring houses.

Fire trucks from Suva Fire Station and Valelevu Station engaged to put out the fire. Only the top floor of the double storey house was partially damage by the fire.

At the time of the fire incident, the occupants of the house were at home and they were able to safely vacate the house. No one was injured.

NFA’s investigations are underway to determine the cause of this fire incident.
