NFA team departs for Australasian Firefighters Championship

Seven firefighters left for Australia yesterday, where they will train in Echuca for four day before competing at the Australasian Firefighters Championships.

The team will compete against Australian and New Zealand firefighting teams at the three day championship that will begin from Friday.

NFA Board chair Commander Francis Kean in wishing the team well reminded them on the importance of unity and honesty.

He urged the firefighters to represent Fiji with honour.

The Australasian Firefighting Championships is a biannual event.
