Newest A330 added to Fiji Airways fleet

Fiji Airways today welcomed its 5th A330 aircraft to its fleet.

AG and Minister for Civil Aviation Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the newest addition gives Fiji Airways a bigger footprint in terms of service to their destination.

Sayed-Khaiyum says the aircraft will also help carter for the new route to Narita later this year.

He says Fiji Airways continues to punch above its weight.

Sayed-Khaiyum says Fijians should be proud of their national carrier as they continue to showcase Fiji around the world.

Meanwhile Fiji Airways Executive GM Engineering Thomas Robinson says today they also rename the aircraft to Island of Beqa.
