Water Authority of Fiji customers in Savusavu now don’t have to travel long distance regarding any water related issues.

This after a new customer service office has opened in Savusavu town.

Regional Manager North Apete Radrodrolagi says the new office will provide services relating to issues with water bills, applications for water meters and water harvesting systems.

Prior to the opening of the new office, customers travelled about 4 kilometers out of town to the WAF depot to access its services.

Radrodrolagi says they received a lot of complaints about this and the management agreed to have the new facility in town.

Chief Guest at the opening, Labasa/Savusavu Special Administrator Vijay Chand says having the Customer Service Center brought closer to the people of Savusavu attest their commitment to community outreach that will enable the people of Savusavu to gain economically.

The new WAF Customer Service Office is located behind BSP Bank in Main Street, Savusavu.

WAF has about 1, 843 metered customers around Savusavu.
