To increase the quality of broadband service in the country, Amalgamated Telecom Holdings Limited is rolling out 4G network.
Fiji International Telecommunications Limited Chief Executive George Samisoni says fixed line companies are also looking at increasing cable fibre to homes.
Samisoni says ATH will bring in new technologies with mobile 4G and 5G and all the latest developments as we move towards digital era.
“That penetration in terms of Internet will benefit the Pacific Islanders with the new technologies that ATH brings in and the management skills with that.”
Meanwhile, Samisoni says FINTEL’s network development activities also continue to focus on the enhancement of its core products and services which includes international connectivity, tele-housing and co-location services.
