He says the 2nd Phase is currently progressing and this involves the construction of a northern wing, a southern wing, and a double story central block.

He adds these includes the completion of an administration space, a laboratory, and wards for men, women, and children.

Moroivalu says RFMF engineers arrived in September in Rotuma and they have a 12 month target to complete the 2nd Phase of the construction of the hospital.

The new hospital will cost $8.3 million.
