A new resort owned by Nadi businessman Bobby Khan has been opened in Sonaisali Nadi.
Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says “Resort Relax Fiji” is another vote of confidence in the tourism industry as Fiji enjoys unprecedented growth and record visitor arrivals.
Resort Relax Fiji boasts 17 duplex villas plus two additional presidential suites, conference facilities and other amenities for adults and children – providing sixty new jobs.
“With such developments, jobs are created and the earnings of the employees filter back into their communities and strengthen the general economic base for every Fijian. As you know I have made it a priority to persuade as many Fijians to return home. I made a big effort on my recent visits to Canada and Australia to attract more Fijians to return home to invest, to return home. Ladies and Gentlemen, Resort Relax Fiji hasn’t just been designed to attract overseas visitors – important as they are to our economy. It also wants to attract as many Fijians as possible to come and stay or enjoy the facilities.”
Bobby Khan also owns U Save Supermarket, an events centre at Votualevu and plans to open commercial offices and retail stores at the Airport plaza complex.
