New programmes for FBC TV

FBC TV has launched new television programmes as it celebrates its third anniversary this month.

Fiji Broadcasting Corporation chief executive Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says they continue to bring new products for the viewers and are excited about three new shows.

“In terms of shows there is a new Hindi mythological show called “Mahadev’ which will replace “Mahabharat” on Sundays and X-Factor comes back again which is extremely popular and for the first time in Fiji we will have international boxing – two hours of it in fact every Friday night in our Friday night sports evening program.”

Sayed-Khaiyum says FBC is also working on some new local programmes for the New Year.

Apart from this FBC TV also has a new product for its sales team called the Insomniacs, which started from the 1st week of this month.

“Its regular TV programs from 12.30am to 5am – nowadays if you not able to sleep at 2 in the morning you wake up and turn the TV on and you get to watch Aljazeera or Aljazeera so we want to give you but more – we will have regular programs – our best programs will be repeated overnight as well.”

FBC TV will celebrate its 3rd birthday on 25th of this month.
